Getting Started with Crossfit Elements

Finally took the first step and signed up at my local Crossfit gym.

Before I can start the regular classes, I have to complete the Crossfit Elements course of instruction, which teach movements and proper technique for optimal performance in the CrossFit program.

The Crossfit Elements program consists of three sessions:

Elements One
Front squat
Overhead squat
Push up
Kipping pull up
Concept II

You will also get in a CrossFit workout and get a taste of what a CrossFit class is like!
Elements Two
Dead lift
Sumo dead lift high pull
Shoulder press
Push press
Push jerk

Elements Three
Med ball Clean
Barbell clean
Ring row
Ring dip
Burgener warm up

Since I’ve been lifting intermittently for about 24 years, I have a feeling I’m going to have a lot of bad habits and poor technique to overcome.
