Today’s CrossFit HQ WoD was front squats: 3-3-3-3-3
I’ve never done front squats before, primarily because the flexibility in my shoulders and wrists prevent me from holding much weight in the front rack position.
However, for today’s WoD I used a cross grip, which allowed me to hold the bar in the correct rack position. I don’t think I was able to balance the weight as well with this grip, and thus didn’t lift as heavy as I think I could.
