CrossFit Central WoD: DB Snatch and Ring Dips

Today’s CFC WoD was brutal, with only one person in our class finishing it in the allocated 20 minute time limit:

21,18,15,12,9,6,3 reps of:

  • DB Snatch M:40 F:25
  • Ring Dips

The Snatch is caught in a full squat. Must do the number of reps on right arm, then left arm. Which actually meant a total of 42, 36, 30, 24, 18, 12, and 6 reps of DB snatch.

Sounds like a shoulder killer right? And it was. But not nearly as much of a legs killer. That’s a lot of overhead squats.

Oh, I scaled to 35 lbs, and still only managed to get down to the reps of 6 (finished the 6 and 6 snatches, and had just started the ring dips).

Also scaled the dips using a medium resistance band (first time doing ring dips with a band. Hard, but I liked it).
