CrossFit Central WoD: Muscle Failure

Muscle failure WoD today at CrossFit Central:

5 Rounds with 2min rest between each of:

  • 1/2 BW Dumbell Floor Press to failure
  • Pull Ups to failure

75 presses @ 50 lbs (each dumbbell) and only 58 pull ups (resistance bands for a full WoD for the first time. No more jumping PUs for me. Progress)

Though I shredded my hands a bit on the pull ups.

The dumbbell floor presses were done with your back propped up on a med ball, feet flat on the floor, hips thrust upwards. Felt good to do a little “traditional” chest work, something we don’t do real often in CrossFit.
