CrossFit Central WoD: Barbell Burpees and Sit Ups

Great workout. I was able to muscle up the cleans pretty easily for all thirty reps, and an easy push press had the bar over my head without ever straining. The metcon aspect of the WoD is what did me in. Continue reading

Crossfit Central WoD: Overhead

The first round I was able to do all 7 hang power snatches uninterrupted, and kept the bar overhead on the last rep and went straight into my overhead squats. Those felt good too and were uninterrupted. 3 burpees is a good number (when discussing burpees, fewer is always better than more). Continue reading

Crossfit WoD: Pullups, Kettle Bells, and Burpees

The Kettle Bell swings were not too bad — this was my first time to use the 24KG kettle bell (53 lbs) for full overhead KB swings (I usually use a 20kg bell [44 lbs], which is what I also have in my garage home gym). I felt pretty strong on these. Continue reading
